SCAM Alert

Members have recently been receiving calls from someone pretending to be from Heartland REMC. This caller tells the member their account is up for disconnection. The member is then instructed to pay a large amount or they will be disconnected within the hour. This is a scam.  To be 100% sure who you are talking to on the phone, end the call and contact the office to verify the caller is from Heartland REMC.
