Summer Sun and Fiber Fun: Bringing High-Speed Internet to the Heartland
Summertime conditions aren’t slowing down progress on the Heartland REMC and TWN fiber broadband project!
Even though temperatures are rising, crews are still busy braving the heat to bring fast, reliable fiber internet to the Heartland.
Four zones are already enjoying TWN’s fiber internet, digital phone, and TV streaming services: Lafayette, Lincolnville, Uniondale, and Huntington.
In Lincolnville, over 700 members are connected as construction is nearing the final stages. If you are in this zone, make sure you don’t miss out. Call 833-727-5563 or visit twncomm.com/heartland to sign up and take advantage of free installation!
Exciting things are also happening in Uniondale where crews have been busy wrapping up the build-out. To date, over 600 households in the Uniondale Zone are enjoying TWN’s high-speed fiber internet.
Meanwhile in Huntington, crews have been working above and below ground to build the fiber backbone. Nearly 250 customers in Huntington are now connected!
Other zones where main line construction is underway include Hopewell and Mt. Etna, where members are beginning the connection process. If you are in these zones, now is a great time to sign the Underground Agreement to ensure your property is fiber-ready when broadband services are available.
