New Areas Gear Up for Fiber Service

Exciting things are happening for Heartland REMC members as the fiber broadband network continues to grow.

Not only were the first members in the Wabash West zone recently connected, but crews also have begun construction in the Servia area!

Currently, members in Lafayette, Lincolnville, Uniondale, Huntington, Mt. Etna, and now Wabash West are enjoying fiber-to-the-home. To date, nearly 3,000 Heartland REMC members are officially connected with many more to come as HREMC and TWN continue to work toward their goal to provide fast, reliable fiber broadband throughout the region.

Recently, Wabash West joined other areas as the newest zone offering fiber drops to members’ houses.

For those who are already connected and love our service in these areas, be sure to tell your neighbors, so they can take advantage of the benefits of fiber connectivity too.

Refer your family, friends, or neighbors to TWN and you will BOTH earn a $25* credit. Simply ask them to call 877-877-6861 and mention your name when they sign up. There’s no limit to the number of people you can refer, so start talking today!

Crews also have been hitting the ground running in Servia, where construction on the fiber network is now underway. Currently, TWN crews are braving the winter elements to build out the fiber backbone.

With main line construction in full swing, residents and businesses in Servia could be enjoying fast, reliable fiber internet as soon as this spring.

As the project moves forward, more zones will continue to be added to the network. Not sure when you can expect fiber service? Monitor your area on the progress map.

If you haven’t already, visit twncomm.com/heartland or call 833-727-5563 to sign the Underground Agreement today, so crews can make sure your property is fiber-ready when broadband services become available.
